Multimodal transhipment and extended disposal options
The new platform offers 9,000 m² of space and 10,000 m³ of storage capacity, providing versatile options for the handling and temporary storage of bulk goods. Thanks to its connection to the Rhine harbour, loading and unloading by ship is possible – a clear advantage for sustainable, multimodal transport routes.
In addition to a wide range of disposal services, pre-treatment processes such as crushing, screening and conditioning are also available. This allows materials to be efficiently prepared on site for further recycling.

The establishment of the transit platform in the Rhine port of Illzach is officially supported by the French environmental and energy programme CLIMAXION. This programme supports innovative, climate-friendly infrastructure projects – further proof of the site’s forward-looking orientation.
