Values at a glance
The landfill slider bundles the key classification values for the disposal of waste in accordance with German regulation – whether in landfills, open-cast or underground mining. This allows waste to be correctly classified in just a few seconds.
Classification values of the Landfill Directive
Before delivery, waste must be analysed and assigned to a landfill class. The slider shows the relevant characterising values of the German Landfill Directive on the inside. Waste that has been tested in accordance with the Secondary Aggregates Directive (EBV) can also be assigned directly – helpful in cases where recycling in accordance with the EBV is not possible.
Reverse side with LAGA TR Boden
The values of LAGA M20 (Technical Rules for Soil) are shown on the reverse side. These values are decisive for assessing whether mineral waste can be recycled, for example, in backfilling measures/technical structures approved in accordance with LAGA. The values range from Z 0 to Z 2 and are broken down according to soil types: sand, loam/silt and clay.
The TR Bergbau apply to the recovery of non-mining mineral waste in mining. The W values specified therein correspond to the Z values of LAGA M20.
Whether it’s landfill regulations or LAGA M20 – the REMEX landfill slider summarises all relevant analysis data in a compact format. For experts, it is a handy reference for everyday use and provides quick guidance on waste classification.
PP-LANDILL (German: PP-DEPONIE) stands for Public Private Landfill, a cooperation concept from REMEX for creating, securding and optimising suffcient landfill capacities for waste that cannot be recycled.
