move4ward promotes innovation in recycling

As part of its commitment to greater resource efficiency, REMEX GmbH has now launched a comprehensive programme designed to open up new options in the field of resource conservation and mineral management. The initiative, called move4ward, focuses on technical solutions and digital concepts that close material cycles, optimise processes or reduce the consumption of energy, water and raw materials. With move4ward, REMEX is establishing a platform for future-oriented cooperation with the aim of actively identifying and promoting innovations in mineral recycling and jointly putting them into practice.

Researchers, inventors, founders, start-ups and emerging companies can team up with REMEX, a strong, established partner, to successfully implement their ideas, plans or concepts. REMEX supports suitable projects in a variety of ways: from joint research and development to providing resources for pilot applications and practical tests to financial support. In addition, project partners benefit from access to REMEX’s internal expertise, many years of practical experience and existing sales structures and industry networks. It is also possible to use REMEX’s own machinery and equipment to test new technologies – a decisive advantage for the rapid validation of innovative processes. The initiative focuses primarily on ideas that combine digital and technological innovations with the aim of making the recycling of mineral waste more efficient, sustainable and economical.

Beyond its own innovations, REMEX aims to tap into additional potential with this initiative and quickly bring promising ideas to market maturity. Michael Stoll, Managing Director of REMEX GmbH:

“The transformation to a fully circular economy requires a high level of innovation. Rapidly advancing developments such as artificial intelligence open up enormous opportunities in terms of sustainability and resource conservation. We want to proactively seize, promote and exploit these opportunities.”
